Responsibilities
- Coordinate the program Quality Assurance (QA) activities as part of a cross-functional integrated program team to ensure compliance to customer contractual and regulatory requirements, as well as conformance to AS9100 and AS9145 industry standard requirements
- Own the Quality Work Package deliverables including Quality Assurance Planning for both new and existing products for the end-to-end product lifecycle as an active QA representative on Project and Program teams
- Ensure timely completion of QA deliverables to ensure zero product quality escapes
- Utilize data analytics to identify trends and convey meaningful information regarding Quality performance to internal and external customers
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, reduce defects, and improve efficiency
- Serve on the Program Quality Team as the Quality interface to customers for all Quality matters
- Ensure all applicable elements, product technical and quality standards, and process quality standards are effectively incorporated into new designs and into design changes
- Provide oversight for product acceptance criteria, disposition of nonconforming materials, and measurement system evaluations
- Provide oversight for conformance to compliance requirements including FOD, ESD, and perishable material management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Experience with Failure Mode Effects Analysis (e.g. DFMEA, PFMEA) and application to Product Risk
- Continuous improvement related analysis tools and techniques (e.g. design for six sigma, root cause analysis, lean manufacturing techniques, Failure Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action Systems (FRACAS)
- Mil/Aero experience, and knowledge of AS9100 Quality Standard
- AS9145/AS9102 Submittals
- Professional certifications (AS9100 Lead Auditor, ASQ CQE)
Pay
The salary range for this position is TBD based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
The employee's work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked - and have every other Friday off.
