Essential Functions
- Support Engineering teams working on solid rocket motor development and production program tasks/problem resolution, etc.
- Coincide with Program Management, Aerojet Rocketdyne customers, and other Aerojet Rocketdyne functional organizations to understand and develop resolution to program technical issues.
- Provide technical consultation to Program Management and Business Development organizations for business development activities such as writing white papers or preparing and presenting technical briefings to customers.
- Support the technical lead on proposals to government customers or prime contractors for propulsion development or technology programs.
- Provide inputs to written and verbal status reports to Engineering lead, Aerojet Rocketdyne Management, and provide input and leadership at product team meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior Project Engineer experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior Project Engineer experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior Project Engineer experience.
- Experience with solid propellant propulsion projects is highly desired.
- Background in CAD, GD&T, Analysis or Materials is desirable.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software is desired.
