What You Do

  • Responsible for MTM and OSP team members to achieve production schedules on time while maintaining regulatory compliance to all aspects of federal, state, and local ESOH regulations.
  • Establish strong team member relations, at all levels and provide support for people development, coaching, and mentoring with a focus on teamwork and inclusion.
  • Work closely with advisors from Mazda and Toyota.
  • Work cross-functionally with manufacturing and internal logistics conveyance areas to ensure on-time delivery of parts to production.
  • Daily monitor component parts flow and adjust inventory levels to achieve appropriate inventory levels on the Shop floor, identifying and acting on abnormalities within the supply chain (North American and Overseas).
  • Expedite setting and tracking of Parts and Returnable packaging.
  • Managed supply chain crises and coordinated with internal and external stakeholders, including 3PL operations, raw material suppliers, and general stores.
  • Lead problem solving efforts to countermeasure and mitigate impact of abnormal supply chain conditions.
  • Support new model launches and shutdown coordination activities.
  • Contribute to and support annual business plans and strategies to support Mazda Toyota Manufacturing priorities.
  • Support change point management activities impacting production and production systems.
  • Able to work 2nd shift schedule.
  • Be available to work outside of normal work schedule, including but not limited to weekends, holidays, shutdowns, and travel as needed (domestically and internationally).

What You Bring

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic knowledge of production systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical thinking, with the ability to identify gaps, root cause analysis and countermeasure implementation
  • Developing project strategies, problem-solving and countermeasures
  • Demonstrated understanding of data analysis and visualizations
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Products

What Sets You Apart

  • A Bachelor's Degree (or Higher) in Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Business Management, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 2+ years' Production Control experience within a high-volume production environment, preferably in automotive manufacturing
  • Project management experience with capability to develop, lead and prioritize work, meet milestones, gain consensus, and report out status of projects
  • CTPAT or other trade compliance training/certification
  • Bring a unique blend of data management, automation, and reporting expertise, utilizing SQL and Microsoft Power Platform tools to create innovative solutions that reduce manual effort and support strategic business objectives

  • Hiring Range Salary $84,581.12 - $108,270.98

  • The compensation structure consists of an annual salary and a yearly discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
