Specialist, Middle Office Representative II
About the role
To make an impact, you’ll contact brokers for any discrepancies, utilize electronic trade matching (CTM connected to BlackRock’s Aladdin) to ensure fixed income and equity are matched on key trade information, ensure timely and accurate matching of daily Repos in Access Edge and JPM Morgan Collateral Central, communicate interest payment due and new Repo bookings with counterparties to ensure proper matching, prepare and send Repo and Time Deposit end-of-day reports to ensure wire information is agreed upon, prepare and send client activity reports to clients, work closely with and provide operational support for the trading desk and investment team, work closely with members of the operations team to ensure proper communication and settlement of trades across multiple asset classes, and identify opportunities for automation and other process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Contact brokers for any discrepancies
- Utilize CTM connected to BlackRock’s Aladdin for trade matching
- Ensure timely and accurate matching of daily Repos in Access Edge and JPM Morgan Collateral Central
- Communicate with counterparties about interest payments and new Repo bookings
- Prepare and send Repo and Time Deposit end-of-day reports
- Prepare and send client activity reports
- Provide operational support for the trading desk and investment team
- Work with operations team for trade communication and settlement
- Identify and implement process improvements
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1–2 years of total work experience preferred; experience in trade processing, accounting support, or the mutual fund industry preferred (training provided; prior financial services experience not required)
- Prior hands-on experience working with BlackRock’s Aladdin highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to follow complex procedures and manage risk effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Pay
The expected base salary for this position when employment commences can be found in the Job Info section at the bottom of the posting. Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents.
