Specialist, Market Operations

About the role

Support the day-to-day reliability of market operations across trading and clearing environments for a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. Partner with internal teams, external clients, and vendors to resolve technical issues, support investigations, and keep market activity running smoothly. Play a key role in onboarding, launch readiness, and ongoing process improvement as the business scales its exchange operations. Location: Remote - US based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time technical support for trading and clearing systems across exchange platforms.
• Investigate and resolve customer issues related to exchange functionality and market events.
• Support internal and external investigations involving error trades.
• Coordinate product launches and platform updates with development teams.
• Facilitate client and vendor onboarding for both exchanges.
• Identify and recommend operational process improvements to support growth.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Information Systems, Economics, Finance, or a technical field.
• 1+ years of experience in financial markets operations or a technical operations role.
• Knowledge of listed futures or options, with experience in error trade analysis.
• Ability to convey complex technical issues to diverse audiences.
• Experience providing support via multiple channels, including voice, email, and chat.
• Familiarity with FIX protocol, SQL, and CRM tools such as Salesforce or JIRA is advantageous.
• Ability to use generative AI responsibly, with an emphasis on workflow efficiency.

Pay

$112,965 – $132,900 annually
