Specialist II - Floating Teller (Part Time 20 Hours) Salem Branch

About the role

Branch Delivery is responsible for delivering high-quality, consistent client experiences across branch locations while ensuring operational excellence and adherence to bank policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day branch service operations.
• Support client transactions.
• Ensure accurate and timely execution of all frontline banking activities.
• Coach and support branch teams to meet performance expectations.
• Implement process improvements that strengthen service delivery.
• Monitor operational controls to reduce risk and maintain compliance.
• Conduct all credit and debit transactions in compliance with established bank policies and procedures (Floating Teller role).
• Keep proper cash supply on hand and prepare daily proof record while maintaining an acceptable difference record.
• Process night deposits and ATM transactions as needed.
• Deliver excellent service to all bank customers.
• Refer customers to other bank staff for product sales or problem resolution.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience; may require vocational or technical education.
• Typically 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work under moderate supervision; routine problems may require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures.
• Ability to communicate information that requires some explanation or interpretation.

Physical/Environmental Requirements

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift objects up to 30 lbs.
• May require travel; must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, if applicable.
