About the role
Provides day-to-day technical support to teammates for a range of hardware and software-related systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, fault rectification, problem escalation, and assisting with hardware/software evaluation and IT infrastructure improvements.
Responsibilities
- Acquire, install, and upgrade PC components and software; plan for and respond to service outages.
- Diagnose problem sources through discussions with users and coordinate with internal support groups or vendors to resolve issues.
- Respond to user requests to research complex problems related to telecommunications networks (voice and/or data).
- Provide real-time end-user ERP systems support, problem identification, and training to facilitate knowledge transfer and prevent problem recurrence.
- Troubleshoot, rectify faults, and escalate problems as needed.
- Resolve users’ problems, queries, or complaints effectively and in a timely manner.
- Assist in evaluating hardware and software; recommend upgrades or improvements to IT infrastructure.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
