Specialist, Health, Safety and Environment (1st Shift) - Atlanta GA
Responsibilities
- Planning your health and safety program and protocols.
- Teaching supervisors, managers and other site leaders about health and safety standards and procedures.
- Presenting safety training sessions.
- Understanding and ensuring compliance with OSHA, federal and state regulations.
- Completing risk assessments to gather information on safety issues.
- Verifying that employees consistently follow safety protocols.
- Analyzing health and safety data.
- Reviewing and recommending changes to regular activities to ensure workplace safety.
- Conducting site inspections or audits.
- Reviewing safety observations.
- Other duties deemed necessary by line manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5+ years’ experience within workplace safety.
- Preferably in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain industry.
- Relevant certifications in safety are a plus.
- OSHA 30-hour training.
- Preferred: OSHA authorized trainer.
- First Aid / CPR certified.

Pay
The typical starting salary range for this position is: $50,400 - $72,000. The actual salary offer will take into account multiple factors including skills, experience, education and location. Candidates are eligible for the following benefits:
