Specialist, Fund Reporting II
About the role
This role is located in Boston MA. The Associate, Regulatory Reporting will prepare and coordinate drafts of regulatory filings for submission to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and National Futures Association on client's behalf. They will also liaise with appropriate external and internal parties regarding team deliverables and information needed to produce regulatory filings.
Responsibilities
- Prepare or review uploads, GAAP adjustments or reconciliations to create initial draft of regulatory filing
- Prepare and coordinate drafts of regulatory filings for submission to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and National Futures Association on client's behalf
- Review and submit approved filing to regulator by quarterly deadline
- Support initiatives to transform existing processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience required. 4 years of total work experience preferred.
- Experience in regulatory and/or financial reporting for Investment Companies (Mutual Funds, ETFs, Hedge Funds, etc.) required. Experience in handling Form PF and/or CPO-PQR, preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Confluence Unity (NXT) for preparing, reviewing, and publishing financial/regulatory reports, preferred
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Qualifications

Pay
The base salary for this position is expected to be between $52,000 and $86,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
Schedule
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
