Department OverviewThe McDonald’s Corporate Controller Group’s Accounting and Reporting group currently has an excellent opportunity for an Accounting Specialist to join our team. Our environment is fast-paced and going through change, requiring the candidate to be able to help drive efficienciesDutiesAnalysis, consolidation and reporting of monthly financial information for actual and projected resultsCreation of critical standard monthly/quarterly reports for use by Top ManagementOwnership of various SEC reporting functions, including populating financial results for the earnings release and quarterly/annual filings, drafting supporting schedules, compiling and analyzing annual reporting packages, and assisting in filing proceduresPreparation of materials for key Executive meetings, including the Board of Directors and Senior Leadership TeamCollaboration with various stakeholders across global markets, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, Legal, internal and external auditors, etc.Assist in preparation of ad hoc research requests from management and key customers related to new FASB standards and business initiativesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance2+ years of experience in the accounting industry and/or in financial services, public experience preferredOutstanding analytical abilities and communication skillsStrong problem-solving skillsResults-driven individualStrong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in teamsInitiative and creativity in finding efficienciesMust be proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to quickly learn other software applications necessary to complete daily tasksCompensationBonus Eligible: YesLong - Term Incentive: NoBenefits Eligible: YesSalary RangeThe expected salary range for this role is $69,679.00 - $87,099.00 per year The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
