Specialist, Engineering (Onsite)

The FLEx Center is a state-of-the-art, multi-modality Drug Product development and GMP clinical manufacturing facility dedicated to advancing small molecules, biologics, and vaccines. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring materials flow seamlessly through the site, enabling groundbreaking drug development and manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Champion Just-in-Time (JIT) Practices
- Execute JIT warehousing strategies to maximize storage efficiency while ensuring uninterrupted material availability.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels for essential consumables ensuring operations remain fully supported.
- Coordinate Material Movement
- Manage inbound and outbound movement of materials from multiple sources to support batch manufacturing across various modalities.
- Execute critical transactions in SAP and partner with site services to facilitate efficient movement of drug products out of the facility.
- Execute Purchase Orders
- Issue purchase orders through SAP and support creation and maintenance of supply chains to ensure material availability and continuity.
- Drive Process Improvement
- Help design, refine, and improve processes for tracking materials, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with formulators, engineers, site partners, and cross-functional teams to identify and implement process enhancements that improve performance and reliability.
Requirements
Education: High school diploma/GED with 5 years of experience in engineering, supply chain management, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field, or a bachelor's degree.
Skills
- Knowledge of drug product manufacturing or development.
- Experience in materials management, warehousing, supply chain operations, or GMP manufacturing environment preferred.
- Knowledge of MES, SAP, or other ERP systems.
- Exceptional organizational and analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across teams.
- A proactive mindset with a sense for identifying inefficiencies and proposing innovative solutions.

Schedule
- 2nd shift (evening), Monday-Friday, onsite required.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $87,300.00 - $137,400.00. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs. The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
