Role Summary
This role is responsible for executing and sustaining employee engagement, recognition, and community impact programs across Benjamin Moore. The Specialist is responsible for the implementation of key initiatives, ensuring programs are well-coordinated, effectively communicated, and consistently delivered across locations and teams.
Success is defined by consistent delivery, strong stakeholder engagement, and measurable participation and engagement outcomes across the organization.
This role partners closely with Human Resources, Talent & Development, Communications, Marketing, internal and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Employee Experience
- Collect data and monitor metrics to effectively communicate our employee experience story.
- Partner with the learning and development team to create content that enhances employee training and transformation initiatives.
- Provide support to Business Resource Groups (BRGs), identifying cultural and business-relevant topics, internal and external speakers and materials needed for programs and initiatives.
- Recognition Program Management
- Administer the company’s ongoing recognition platform, including award approvals, reporting, and system administration.
- Manage monthly and quarterly reporting cycles and partner with stakeholders to review outcomes and recommend improvements for additional engagement.
- Execute the Pinnacle Award program – the annual recognition program through communication of criteria, analysis of nominees and engagement campaigns.
- Community Impact & Partnerships
- Coordinate corporate volunteer programs and community engagement initiatives, including planning, logistics, communications, and post-event follow-up.
- Manage relationships with nonprofit partners and ensure timely coordination of donations, volunteer events, and program deliverables.
- Oversee tracking and reporting of community impact metrics including participation, paint donations, and outcomes.
- Content Development
- Works closely with the Marketing, Public Relations and Communications teams to plan and execute internal and external employee experience and social impact communications campaigns.
- Translate program activity into compelling stories, materials, and messaging aligned to Benjamin Moore’s brand standards.
- Cook up content across channels including internal platforms, newsletters, digital signage, and campaign assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, human resources, business, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in program coordination, employee engagement, communications, or related roles
- Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience with content development, storytelling, or internal communications
- Exposure to video editing or content tools (e.g., Camtasia, Canva)
- Familiarity with recognition platforms, engagement tools, or live and on-line event management
- Experience of working with marketing or communications teams to deliver campaigns
Pay Range
USD $71,400.00 - USD $91,400.00 /Yr.
