Specialist Director, Cloud Security

About the role

Seeking a Specialist Director, Cloud Security to lead cloud security governance and strategy within enterprise AWS and Azure environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for cloud security, risk remediation, compliance, and continuous monitoring.
• Oversee enterprise cloud asset management, firewall, and security exception governance.
• Drive remediation efforts across engineering, infrastructure, and business teams, with KPI/KRI reporting and executive dashboards.
• Set security standards for cloud and AI adoption, collaborating with cloud, cybersecurity, and business leaders.
• Manage delivery of Cyber Managed Services, ensuring high-quality service, incident and change management, and continuous improvement.
• Lead operational governance, risk management, and offshore/onshore delivery coordination.
• Uphold integrity, professionalism, and a respectful work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight years in cybersecurity with leadership experience in cloud security, governance, or risk management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
• Proven expertise in enterprise AWS and Azure environments, security programs, and risk mitigation.

Skills

• Strong influence skills to engage senior stakeholders and drive risk reduction.
• Technical knowledge of AWS, Azure, IAM, CSPM/CNAPP platforms, and security frameworks.
• Ability to travel as needed and work legally in the U.S. without sponsorship.
