Specialist Director, Cloud Security

Seeking a Specialist Director, Cloud Security to lead cloud security governance and risk management across AWS and Azure environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for cloud security, including oversight of security posture, compliance, and risk remediation.
• Drive governance programs for enterprise cloud assets, firewalls, and security exceptions, ensuring inventory accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and business teams to prioritize and remediate security risks, and develop KPI/KRI reporting.
• Establish security standards, policies, and control frameworks for cloud and AI technologies, partnering with leadership to embed security into platform strategies.
• Manage Cyber Managed Services delivery, ensuring high-quality service through collaboration with clients and global teams.
• Oversee operational governance, incident management, change and release processes, and continuous service improvements.
• Act with integrity, professionalism, and responsibility, promoting a respectful work environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum eight years of cybersecurity experience, including cloud security, governance, risk management, or architecture.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, CSPM/CNAPP platforms, firewall governance, and enterprise risk management.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional remediation efforts.
• Technical knowledge of cloud platforms, security tools, and frameworks.
• Strong leadership, communication, and risk management skills.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be willing to travel as needed.
