Primary Purpose The purpose of this role is to create, manage and distribute content created across Food Lion's internal digital communications channels, including the company intranet (Leo), digital signage network (e-boards) and email system. In addition, this role collaborates with AV resources to run the technology for large company meetings delivered virtually. This role contributes significantly to the work of the communications department by generating and delivering content that educates, engages and inspires associates across multiple channels. The role will generate metrics reports on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis with the objective of tracking performance and delivering strategy recommendations to team members. This role will support timely dissemination of information to associates via video communications tools, digital and email channels, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders. Duties And Responsibilities Create content for digital signage network, and schedule written and video content for multiple internal digital channels, including the company intranet, eboards and email. Use PowerPoint, InDesign and photo-editing software to develop compelling visuals and graphics that align with communications and company brand standards. Post and measure weekly intranet poll to educate and engage associates on a variety of topics related to the business. Track and report readership and engagement, providing insights and recommendations to improve communication effectiveness. Propose innovative ways to build and strengthen associate engagement. Partner with client-connected communicators to support execution of strategic communications plans.Maintain editorial calendar to support weekly meetings that review upcoming content and channel placement. Format and distribute company emails, coordinate email testing and approval workflows, ensuring error-free execution. Coordinate distribution timing of emails to prevent conflicting messages or message overload. Maintain distribution lists in collaboration with HR analytics and IT.Use Google Analytics to prepare monthly metrics reports and maintain monthly metrics dashboard to identify trends and opportunities to increase associate engagement. Produce an annual metrics review to assess performance year-over-year. Create and update intranet pages, assisting other teams with keeping their pages active and up-to-date. Partner with IT to diagnose, troubleshoot and remedy technical issues involving the intranet. Update and polish slide content for leadership meetings and business updates that support company initiatives. Monitor Corporate Communications inbox, triaging and responding to e-board and video requests and story ideas, responding and following up as necessary to close the loop.
