Specialist, Credit Risk

About the role

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Conduct independent administrative and compliance reviews of underwriting submissions prepared by 1LOD and 2LOD teams.
• Serve as a four-eyes control function, validating adherence to risk policies, regulatory obligations, and Internal Audit and SOX requirements.
• Coordinate the end-to-end lifecycle of Credit Risk policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and guidelines to ensure documentation is accurate, current, and fit for use; partner with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to identify gaps and coordinate timely updates.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the replacement credit approval and rating application, including test planning, execution tracking, results analysis, defect triage, and readiness reporting.
• Partner with SMEs and cross-functional teams to strengthen compliance and governance, contribute to Credit Risk initiatives and enterprise projects, and reduce operational risk through improved documentation and controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or a similar field is required.
• 1-3 years of total work experience is required.
• Credit risk experience is preferred.
• Strong data analysis and data presentation skills.
• Excellent and demonstrable communication, written, and presentation skills are required.
