About the Role

The Agile Content Creation Engagement Team (ACCET) Special Projects Specialist will help with the execution of contests, community/station events, and special projects such as community awareness and disaster relief. This role ensures events, contests, or special projects align with ACCET brand and community guidelines.

Key responsibilities include coordinating and creating promotional content, sponsored elements, press releases, social copy, on-site event logistics, emcee schedules, branded materials, and marketing collateral (SWAG).

Responsibilities

  • Meet with community partners and stations to review events.
  • Develop and execute plans for regional events and initiatives.
  • Collaborate on internal and external communications (e.g., press releases, sales sizzle reels, employee communications).
  • Work with legal to develop rules for local station and Sinclair contest promotions.
  • Enter project requests into Adobe Workfront for community events, promos, PSAs, and contests.
  • Provide elements for content creation.
  • Assist in planning and standardizing high school sports production, including:
    • Scheduling pre-taped segments and client interviews.
    • Coordinating with schools before games.
    • Ordering trophies and plaques.
    • Creating weekly rundowns/scripts.
    • On-site game day production support.

Requirements

  • Event and project coordination experience.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to manage timelines, logistics, and multiple deadlines.
  • Experience communicating with community partners and stakeholders.
  • Cross-collaboration with sales, marketing, social, news, and production teams.
  • Creative problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator preferred).
