Special Projects Engineer 3

Key Responsibilities

• PLC and DCS Cabinet Support: Provide support for PLC and DCS cabinet cleaning of instrumentation during Miller Unit outages.
• Project Planning and Coordination: Assist in the development of project plans for special initiatives. Collaborate with project teams to gather and organize project requirements. Provide support in coordinating project activities to ensure timelines are met.
• Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication between project stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity. Contribute to preparing and maintaining project documentation.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support in identifying and resolving project-related issues. Apply engineering principles to solve challenges and ensure the smooth execution of projects.

Qualifications

• Education: Accredited bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Experience: 10 to 15 years of related experience, including experience in electronics, instrumentation, program configuration, distributed/process control systems, and plant electrical maintenance.
• Skills and Expertise: Proficiency in advanced project coordination, project planning, and technical support. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Proven ability to lead and collaborate effectively within a team. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff, and/or vendors.

Reporting and Documentation

Prepare reports on project progress and key milestones. Ensure proper documentation and tracking of all project activities.
