Summary The Special Projects Driver is responsible for the safe transportation of CNG, RNG, LNG, and H2 for various special projects, ensuring the projects' energy supply needs are met safely and efficiently. The Special Projects Drivers are required to travel frequently, and trips are up to a few weeks at a time. This includes occasional coast-to-coast travel based on specific project needs and operates in all 48 states in all weather and road conditions, with a dedicated sleeper tractor. Schedule The driver can be based out of strategic growth areas attached to this posting. Must reside within 2hrs of any major US airport/cityHours of work will be set and can flex based on the business needs of the Special ProjectsGeneral base schedule is 21 days on, 7 days off.Required to always travel Duties & Responsibilities CNG, RNG, LNG & H2 operations for various Special Projects across North AmericaMoving equipment from various hubs/regions as equipment demands fluctuateFollowing all Certarus Safe Work proceduresSafe operation of company tractor & trailer to/from off road customer locations in all environments and industriesRemoval and transportation of Mobile Storage Units from customer sites to various locationsRegular drop/hook operations and backing in tight environments with potential for high congestionOperating high pressures valves and pressure bleed offCoupling/de-coupling of high-pressure flex hoses to/from compression stations and pressure reductions systemsProper and in-depth Pre/Post trip inspections of operating vehiclesMaintaining a safe and professional driving recordSetting the standards at new job sites and assisting with training of other personnelOther duties as assigned Requirements Valid Class A CDL driver’s license with X 2yrs of driving experience.OTR experience is preferredWillingness to fly is requiredMust be a safety-minded, self-starter, team player, and can manage your own time efficientlyClear communication skills and willingness to bring field concerns to managementClean Motor Vehicle Record(s) (MVR & PSP) with no suspensionsAbility to obtain TWIC if requiredAbility to obtain Passport if requiredTexas RRC certification in LNG/CNG is a plusOil and gas industry exposure is a plus Certarus embraces diversity and equal opportunity in the way it impacts our continuous business success.
