A Day in the Life and the Impact You’ll Make

What You’ll Do

  • Cross-Functional Transaction Support
  • Serve as trained backup across core transaction processing areas, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, T&E, procurement, and invoice processing
  • Provide coverage during PTO, high-volume periods, and special projects
  • Execute full-cycle transaction processing accurately and timely
  • Identify and recommend process efficiencies and control enhancements
  • Systems & User Acceptance Testing Support
  • Support the Financial Systems Administrator in user acceptance testing (UAT) for ERP and financial system updates, enhancements, and implementations
  • Execute tests to validate end-to-end transactional workflows and data integrity
  • Document test results, identify issues, and escalate findings appropriately
  • Aid with validation efforts during system upgrades, patches, and process changes to minimize operational disruption
  • Close & Accounting Support
  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support month-end and periodic close activities
  • Provide documentation support for audit requests
  • Procurement Support
  • Assist with the continued development of the procurement function
  • Aid in standardizing purchasing and invoice workflows
  • Help document procedures and strengthen internal controls within procurement processes
  • Special Projects & Continuous Improvement
  • Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives
  • Support with administration, data collection and reporting for sustainability related activities
  • Support ad hoc accounting and finance projects assigned

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
  • 2–5 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Experience in a high-volume or shared services environment preferred
  • Experience with large ERP systems
  • Preferred experience with the following systems: SAP (ERP), SAP Concur (T&E, Purchase Requisitions, Invoice Processing), and BlackLine (Account Reconciliations)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management skills

Physical Considerations

  • Ability to work in a general office environment
  • Ability to handle extended periods of computer-based work, including telephone
  • Ability to work flexible and long hours, as needed

Travel Considerations

  • No travel required for this position.

Compensation

  • The base pay range for this position is $70,000 annually to $80,000 annually.
  • This position is designated as bonus eligible, subject to plan terms and conditions.
  • Actual pay is based on several factors including market location and position-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
