Special Procedures Technician - Per Diem/PRN

The Cardiovascular Special Procedure Technologist performs advanced diagnostic and invasive procedures to aid in diagnosing and treating patients with heart-related conditions. They require a strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, sterile techniques, and advanced imaging technologies to ensure accurate results and effective care. Key responsibilities include executing complex protocols, adapting to changing priorities, and collaborating effectively with healthcare teams. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited imaging program or RCIS certification,at least one year of relevant experience,appropriate state licensure if required,and certifications such as ARRT (R), RCIS, and BLS. Preferred candidates possess a bachelor’s degree, excellent decision-making and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical requirements involve lifting, prolonged standing, and various physical movements necessary to perform duties.
