Responsibilities
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the human anatomy, physiology, as well as image quality.
- Communicate the nature of the exam to patients and alleviate their anxiety.
- Show understanding of patient positioning, imaging technique, radiation safety, imaging equipment, infection control, and quality control techniques.
- Supervise students providing patient care, treatment, and services as part of their training.
Qualifications
- RO (State Radiography License) and ARRT-R.
- Must obtain One of: ARRT-VI, ARRT-CI, ARRT-CV or RCIS within 24 months of hire.
- ROT (Temp State Radiography License) and must obtain ARRT-R prior to ROT expiration.
- Must obtain One of: ARRT-VI, ARRT-CI, ARRT-CV or RCIS within 24 months of hire.
