Special Procedures Tech - GIG/Flex/Per Diem/PRN - Mercy St. Louis & Surrounding Communities

Position Details

The Cardiovascular Special Procedure Technologist performs advanced diagnostic and invasive procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with heart-related conditions. Essential duties include:

• Performing advanced diagnostic and invasive procedures using advanced imaging technologies.
• Absorbing and applying knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and sterile techniques.
• Communicating effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.

Education and Experience

• Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completion of required clinical hours or completion of RCIS training certification.
• One (1) year of relevant experience.

Licensure and Certification

• State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
• ARRT (R) or RCIS certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

• Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
