Position Details
The Cardiovascular Special Procedure Technologist performs advanced diagnostic and invasive procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with heart-related conditions. Essential duties include:
- Performing advanced diagnostic and invasive procedures using advanced imaging technologies.
- Absorbing and applying knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and sterile techniques.
- Communicating effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.
Education and Experience
- Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completion of required clinical hours or completion of RCIS training certification.
- One (1) year of relevant experience.
Licensure and Certification
- State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
- ARRT (R) or RCIS certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

- Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree.

- Knowledge of advanced protocols and ability to make adjustments as needed.
- Flexibility to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

Physical Requirements
- Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
- Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
