About the Role
The Cardiovascular Special Procedure Technologist performs advanced diagnostic and invasive procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The role demands a strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, sterile technique, and advanced imaging technologies to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatments for patients with heart-related conditions. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostic and invasive cardiovascular procedures.
- Apply knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and sterile technique.
- Utilize advanced imaging technologies for accurate diagnoses and treatments.
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completion of required clinical hours or completion of RCIS training certification.
- One (1) year of relevant experience.
- State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
- Certification/Registration: ARRT (R) or RCIS; Basic Life Support (BLS).

- Bachelor’s degree.
- Knowledge of advanced protocols and ability to make adjustments as needed.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
