Special Inspector-ICC Certified

About the Role

We have an immediate career opportunity for an ICC-Certified Special Inspector in Las Vegas, Nevada. Reinforced Concrete certification is required; additional certifications in structural masonry, post-tensioned reinforced concrete, high-strength bolting, structural steel welding, and/or pre-stressed concrete are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction to ensure compliance with standards for components listed.
• Read and interpret structural blueprints and current code requirements.
• Maintain proper and complete files of field and laboratory data, reports, letters, RFIs, and other pertinent field data.
• Communicate clearly with the Project Manager and the client's representatives.

Requirements

• ICC certifications for Reinforced Concrete (required). Additional certifications in Pre-stressed Concrete, Structural Steel and Bolting, Structural Masonry, or Post-Tensioned Reinforced Concrete are a plus.
• Minimum of two years of experience in special inspection.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
