Special Hiring Event - Production Operator

About the role

We are seeking a Production Operator for our International Falls, MN Paper Mill, a White Paper Mill owned by Packaging Corporation of America (PCA). PCA is a Fortune 500 company focused on delivering high-quality packaging and paper solutions with a commitment to performance and environmental responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of manufacturing tasks using production equipment to ensure steady workflow.
• Make minor equipment adjustments and conduct quality checks before, during, and upon completion of production.
• Stack boxes, clean facility areas, and perform general helper duties as needed.
• Move and lift heavy objects, including loading/unloading materials into machinery.
• Maintain production and work records.
• Examine products to verify conformance to specifications.
• Clean work areas and sort manufacturing materials/products.
• Load, unload, and stack products, materials, and containers.
• Measure, weigh, or count products and materials.
• Operate hoist, winch, and hydraulic boom.
• Perform safety and equipment inspections in manufacturing and industrial settings.
• Use hand and power tools as required.
• Mark products and containers for identification purposes.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous work experience required.
• Current and valid Driver’s License.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to work swing and graveyard shifts, including required overtime.
• Strong safety background and good attendance record.
• Ability to push, pull, bend, and twist repetitively.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and handle fluctuating work volumes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous plant manufacturing experience is a plus.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously.

Pay

Starting salary: $28.65 per hour.
