Responsibilities
- Lead global development of HMI and infotainment component functions
- Own multimedia functions including: Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, FM/AM Radio, SiriusXM, HD Radio, Multimedia platforms, Phone connectivity
- Create and manage technical concepts, requirements, and specifications
- Coordinate implementation, testing, validation, and verification activities
- Lead audio tuning activities and collaborate with external partners
- Cook up certification efforts for: Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, WiFi/Bluetooth, SiriusXM, HD Radio, Country-specific regulatory approvals
- Manage project timelines, scope, bug fixes, and risk mitigation
- Coordinate suppliers and global stakeholders across multiple regions
- Analyze infotainment defects and drive resolution activities
- Create technical presentations, reports, and project documentation
Requirements
- Master's degree in Automotive Engineering or related discipline
- 5+ years of automotive product development experience
- 2+ years as an Infotainment Function Owner
- Experience with automotive ECU development
- Experience with: CAN, Ethernet, AUTOSAR
- Experience with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration
- Experience with multimedia and audio systems
- Strong project coordination and stakeholder management experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Experience coordinating suppliers and global teams
