Contract (1099) position providing individualized instruction to students in grades 1-5 who require reading, math, or executive-function intervention and support.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one, evidence-based instruction to students diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, ASD, or executive dysfunction
- Use TPAPT assessment tools to identify each student’s specific areas of need
- Develop and implement personalized learning plans that address students’ unique challenges
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
- Collaborate with parents and educators to communicate progress and support strategies
- Create a positive, encouraging learning environment that motivates students to achieve their goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or Speech-Language Pathology
- Certification as a Reading Specialist, Math Specialist, or SPED Teacher
- Experience working with neurodivergent learning populations
- Strong understanding of intervention strategies and evidence-based practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build rapport and encourage students
- Availability for flexible hours, including after-school and weekend sessions
