Role Overview

This position involves providing specialized education services to deaf and hard-of-hearing students in a school district setting.

Responsibilities

• Delivering direct instruction and interventions aligned with students' IEPs
• Collaborating with educators, administrators, and specialists to support student progress
• Maintaining accurate documentation of services, assessments, and interventions
• Participating in IEP meetings to ensure appropriate accommodations and modifications

Qualifications & Skills

• Professional Educator’s License (PEL) with endorsement for hearing impairments
• Proficiency with school-based technology
• Fluency in ASL sign language

Key Duties

Provide specialized support to students with hearing impairments, develop collaborative strategies, ensure compliance with regulations, and support students' academic and social development.
