Special Education Teacher (Sped Teacher) - Weekly Pay

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify curricula and lessons tailored to students' abilities.
• Provide engaging learning activities to support students' intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.
• Collaborate with faculty and parents/guardians to ensure positive student outcomes.
• Attend meetings and report progress timely.
• Utilize effective communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with special education endorsements.
• Knowledge of IEP goal setting, ARD process, and curriculum adaptation for students with special needs.
• Experience through student teaching, internships, or related work.
