Responsibilities
- Conduct special education programming to students who have been identified as needing special education programming by their IEP and who attend the education program through Pyramid Healthcare.
- Design and implement effective behavioral management plans in all educational settings.
- Organize and implement effective classroom delivery of service.
- Work with all staff (education & therapeutic) for effective implementation of all special education requirements.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, phone contacts & record keeping.
- Attend meetings as required.
- Respond to emergency situations.
Requirements
- PA Teaching Certification (Preferred).
- Minimum education of a Bachelors Degree in related field.
- Experience in teaching Special Education (Preferred).
