Special Education Teacher- School for Integrated Learning

About the role

We are seeking Certified Special Education Teachers to work in a supportive, year-round, 52-week program at our approved private school in West Chester, PA. The position offers a multidisciplinary, strengths-based environment with an emphasis on applied behavior analysis and positive behavior supports.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of all students
• Deliver education lessons in small classroom settings
• Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and track education goals
• Support and reinforce Program-Wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PW-PBIS) goals and objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Active Special Education Instructional I or II Pennsylvania teacher certification, or eligibility for Pennsylvania Special Education Instructional I certification
• Emergency certification available
• Special Education Teacher experience preferred

Pay

• Instructional I or II: $61,689/yr – $70,325/yr
• Emergency Certification Special Education Teacher: $58,604/yr

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
• 52-week position
