Location: Mesquite, TX Start Date: August 11, 2026 Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours Per Week Grade Level: Elementary School Openings: 10 Inspire. Support. Empower. We are looking for caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic Special Education Teachers to join elementary campuses throughout Mesquite, TX! In this rewarding role, you'll work with amazing students in specialized classrooms including Autism Support, Life Skills, Structured Learning, and Behavior Support programs. You'll be surrounded by a supportive team environment and have paraprofessional assistance in the classroom so you can focus on what matters most, helping students learn, grow, and succeed. What You'll Do Create engaging, individualized learning experiences Implement and support student IEP goals Collaborate with parents, teachers, specialists, and administrators Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment Support students' academic, social, behavioral, and communication development Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and professional development opportunities Work alongside classroom paraprofessionals to ensure student success Assist with personal care and toileting needs when required Classroom Settings You may be assigned to one of the following elementary programs: Autism Support Classrooms Life Skills Classrooms (up to 12 students) Structured Learning Classrooms (up to 12 students) Behavior Support Classrooms (approximately 8 students) All classrooms include paraprofessional support and a collaborative team environment.
