Special Education Teacher (Intervention Specialist) – Multiple Openings

About The Role

We are hiring multiple Special Education Teachers (Intervention Specialists) to support students across elementary, middle, and some high school classrooms. Opportunities include HI, SLC, and PIPO settings across a large, diverse district.

Classroom Details

• Assignments available throughout Columbus
• Primarily elementary & middle school caseloads
• High behavioral support environments
• Minimum of 1–2 Instructional Aides per classroom
• Focus on individualized instruction and structured support

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs
• Deliver specialized instruction based on student needs
• Collaborate with general education staff and support teams
• Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom
• Track student progress and ensure compliance

Requirements

• Active Ohio Teaching License (Intervention Specialist / SPED)
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience (preferred)
• Strong experience with IEPs and behavior management
• LBS1 or equivalent endorsement preferred

Compensation

• Local Pay: $55/hour (up to ~$2,200/week)
• Travel Packages Available (stipends included)
• Overtime paid at 1.5x
