Looking for a school-year position with a strong hourly rate and a consistent daytime schedule? We are seeking 2 Special Education Teachers (Intervention Specialists) to join a supportive educational environment in Huber Heights, Ohio for the 2026-2027 school year.

$50/hour
Schedule
- Full school-year assignment: 36-week contract
- Consistent schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- 35 hours per week
About the Role
Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, the Special Education Teacher provides quality educational services to students receiving special education support in grades K-12. This role focuses on delivering specialized instruction, participating in student program planning, and collaborating with general education staff to support student success.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction to students receiving special education services
- Develop and implement educational programming aligned with student needs
- Participate in IEP planning and student progress monitoring
- Collaborate with general education teachers and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide tutorial assistance and academic support
- Maintain educational documentation and compliance with professional standards
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- Valid state teaching certification as required by state and district regulations
- Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Compliance with all professional standards of practice
- Health screening and TB requirements (if applicable)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university (preferred)
- Minimum one year of teaching experience (preferred)
- Standard Elementary Teaching Certification (preferred)
- Standard Secondary Teaching Certification (preferred)
- Standard Special Education Teaching Certification (preferred)
- Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) Endorsement (preferred)
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
