Special Education Teacher - Central Middle School

The Special Education Teacher position at Central Middle School is available for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate must have a current Maine DOE certification #282 (K-8) and provide evidence of a current CHRC.

Responsibilities

• Teach Special Education students at the middle level.
• Utilize technology with state reporting formats.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues.
• Engage identified students effectively.
• Show strong content knowledge in reading, writing, and mathematics.

Requirements

• Prior successful experience teaching Special Education students at the middle level.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize technology with state reporting formats.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully with identified students.
• Strong content knowledge in reading, writing, and mathematics.

Qualifications
