Special Education Teacher

San Juan School District – Special Education Teacher position to begin August 2026.

Qualifications

• Hold, or be eligible to hold, a Utah Professional Special Education Teaching License with Mild/Moderate Disabilities or Severe endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Maximize the learning experience of students with special needs in academics, interpersonal skills, and activities of daily living by implementing district-approved curriculum.
• Document teaching and student progress, activities, and outcomes.
• Address students' specific needs.
• Provide a safe and optimal learning environment.

Pay

Placed on the Licensed Salary Schedule. Placement is determined by education level and years of experience. Experience credit will be awarded for the first ten (10) years of certified experience in an accredited school.

Schedule

Full time, beginning August 2026.
