SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER

About the role
A Special Education Teacher will work primarily with students in an educational setting delivering a curriculum of Target Teaching methodologies. You will track student attendance, maintain student grades, prepare lesson plans, and assist as needed in the classroom setting. The role involves responding to the needs of students who have a variety of ability levels within proven and efficient school policies and procedures.

Requirements
- Possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
- Have an active teacher's certification in Special Education
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Pass a criminal background check, drug test, physical, and TB test
- Pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry
- Meet the requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having a valid Driver's License
Pay
Follows an approved Teacher Pay Scale, starting at $50,000 a year and increasing based on level of education and experience.
