Special Education Teacher

About the role

The following position is available for the 2026-2027 school year: School Special Education Teacher (SB) Severe Endorsement preferred, Mild Moderate considered Self-contained Classroom 8 hrs daily.

Responsibilities

• Provide special education services according to student's IEP for classrooms serving K-12 students with intellectual disabilities and those with similar program needs in the Davis School District.
• Involvement in collaborative program planning, delivery and evaluation of students with complex educational, social, behavioral, self-help and/or medical needs.
• Participation in district and departmental meetings.
• Insight training.
• Work with administrators, regular education teachers, parents, other agencies which may serve the same students.

Requirements

• Licenses Required: Special Education (K-12+)
• Preferred Endorsement: Severe Disabilities
