Special Education Teacher

About the role

The position is available for the 2026-2027 school year at Centerville Elementary School. This is a Special Education Teacher position in the ASC Unit, with a Severe Endorsement preferred and a Mild-Moderate endorsement considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide special education services according to student’s IEP for classrooms serving K-12 students with intellectual disabilities and those with similar program needs.
• Collaborative program planning, delivery, and evaluation of students with complex educational, social, behavioral, self-help and/or medical needs.
• Participation in district and departmental meetings.
• Inservice training.
• Work with administrators, regular education teachers, parents, and other agencies that may serve the same students.

Requirements

• Licenses Required: Special Education (K-12+)
• Endorsement Preferred: Severe Disabilities
