About the role

Oswego Community Unit School District 308 is seeking a Special Education Teacher Assistant to support students with specialized needs.

Responsibilities

  • Support students with academic, behavioral, and health/hygiene needs as directed by Special Education Teachers.
  • Assist students in achieving their goals and reaching their highest potential.
  • Apply best practices for working with children and young adults with specialized needs.
  • Show skill in applying general written and verbal guidance to specific work situations.
  • Have the ability to lift and move up to thirty pounds without assistance or to assist with lifting and moving up to fifty pounds.
