About the Role

Supplemental Health Care is hiring a Special Education Teacher for a 13-week local contract position in Ramona, California. This role supports students with disabilities through personalized instruction and advocacy, working 37 hours per week with an 8-hour day shift.

Pay

• $48.25 - $51.95 per hour
• $3,000 assignment bonus available (conditions apply; ask recruiter for details)

Responsibilities

• Support students with disabilities through personalized instruction and advocacy to fuel academic and personal growth
• Build and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams
• Track student progress and create engaging lesson plans

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university
• Teaching Certification with Schools Special Education Endorsement
• Special Education Teaching Endorsement that meets position requirements
• Accepted certifications include multicategorical, crosscategorical, intellectual, learning, and/or emotional disability special education certifications
