Supplemental Health Care is seeking a School Special Education Teacher for a local contract position in Nottoway Court House, Virginia.

About the Role

This is a 13-week contract position starting as soon as possible. The role requires 37 hours per week with an 8-hour day shift.

Pay

$40.45 - $43.55 per hour with a $3,000 assignment bonus (conditions apply; ask recruiter for details).

Responsibilities

Support students with disabilities through personalized instruction and advocacy.
Build and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams.
Track student progress and create engaging lesson plans.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
Teaching Certification with Schools Special Education Endorsement.
Special Education Teaching Endorsement that meets position requirements.
Accepted certifications include multicategorical, crosscategorical, intellectual, learning, and/or emotional disability special education.
