American Traveler is seeking a Special Education Teacher for an elementary school leave-of-absence assignment in Northglenn, Colorado.

About the role

• Non-clinical school setting at a Title 1 elementary school
• Affective Needs classroom serving students with primarily serious emotional disabilities
• Supports 7-10 students in 3rd-5th grade
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (7:05 AM–3:05 PM)
• Covers a leave of absence through October 2nd (8 weeks, 40 hours per week)
• First-time travelers may be considered

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and support to students with serious emotional disabilities in a self-contained classroom setting

Requirements

• License required if applicable
• Resume required for consideration
• Colorado CBI and FBI fingerprinting clearance required upon contract signing
