Special Education Paraprofessional

Location: Lester Prairie preK-12 • School Hours: 7:45 AM – 3:00 PM • Start Date: September 1, 2026 • Training Dates: August 12, 24, & 25

About the Role

Provide assistance to students with special needs and support teachers in the implementation of daily lesson plans. Assist district personnel in supervising and supporting preK-12 grade students with and/or without special needs in a variety of activities. Perform other duties of a comparable level or type, as required.

Requirements

• An A.A. degree or at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (a minimum of 60 semester credits), or
• A passing score on the ParaPro assessment.
