About the role
Responsible for delivering specialized educational programs to students with special needs in a variety of settings.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Provide therapeutic interventions and support services as needed.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive student care.
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
- Valid state teaching license.
- Experience working with students with special needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using educational technology tools.
