Special Education Instructional Coach

About the role

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional coaching to special education teachers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Support the implementation of district-wide special education initiatives and programs.
• Collaborate with other special education staff to develop and implement effective strategies for students with disabilities.
• Assist in the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Conduct assessments and provide feedback to teachers on student progress.

Qualifications and Expectations

• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• A valid Colorado teaching license endorsed in Special Education Generalist.
• Experience working with students with disabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.

Pay

• The minimum starting pay is $61,265/year and the maximum salary is $123,743/year.
• Initial pay placement is dependent on level of formal education and years of relevant experience.

Schedule

• 192 contracted work days.
