About the role

Responsibilities
- Provide instructional coaching to special education teachers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Support the implementation of district-wide special education initiatives and programs.
- Collaborate with other special education staff to develop and implement effective strategies for students with disabilities.
- Assist in the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments and provide feedback to teachers on student progress.
Qualifications and Expectations
- A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
- A valid Colorado teaching license endorsed in Special Education Generalist.
- Experience working with students with disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.

Pay
- The minimum starting pay is $61,265/year and the maximum salary is $123,743/year.
- Initial pay placement is dependent on level of formal education and years of relevant experience.
Schedule
- 192 contracted work days.
