Special Education Instructional Aide

Qualifications

• At least 48 college credits from an accredited college or university
• Educational instruction and/or employment experience in the child development and behavior field
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively with students, teachers, and others
• Ability to lift and carry handicapped students as needed
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Interest in urban education

Requirements

• Child Abuse clearance
• PA State Criminal History clearance
• FBI Fingerprint clearance as required by PA School Code at time of hire

Pay

$18.02/hr.

Schedule

7.5 hours/day, 189 days/yr.
