Special Education Extended School Year | Teacher Mild Mental Disability

Purpose

Provide instructional services necessary to educate all students to high standards that align with district state and federal requirements guidelines and standards.

Important Details

• Work Schedule: June 4 - 25, 2026
• Work Hours: 7:45am - 12:15pm
• Location: Indian Village Elementary School
• Only teachers who can commit to the entire time the summer program is in session will be considered.
• Staffing is contingent on the number of students enrolled in the Extended School Year Program.
• Salary is the Teacher contract hourly rate.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas OR be eligible to obtain an alternative teaching credential.

RepA/REP A3 Licensure Options

• Exceptional Needs: Mild Intervention covering appropriate grades
• Must possess knowledge of effective practices including principles, theories, procedures, and techniques used in lesson plan development and classroom instruction.
