Qualifications

• NJ Elementary or PreK - 3 certificate required
• NJ Teacher of Students with Disabilities certification or Teacher of the Handicapped certificate required
• Knowledge of the NJSLS for Elementary ELA and Mathematics
• High-level skills in the collection of data and anecdotal notes to provide evidence of student growth and guide differentiated and targeted instruction to meet the needs of all learners
• Knowledge of best practices in English/Language Arts and Mathematics Interventions
• Knowledge of Wilson Reading System, Project Read and/or Orton Gillingham / Morphology
• Knowledge/evidence of implementation of best practices for supporting an inclusive environment and opportunities for students
• Experience in using small group instructional strategies
• Knowledge of Least Restrictive Environment regulations
• Knowledge of Google for Education
• Experience integrating technology to enhance instruction

The Middletown Township School District offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Terms Of Employment Terms pursuant to the MTEA Collective Bargaining agreementReplacement Position Salary Range: $60,073 - $87,073 (as per the negotiated contract and commensurate with level of education)
